Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday essentially precluded any arrangement for the division of the state, saying his administration trusts in joining together and not separating.
During the BSP rule with Mayawati in charge, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly had in 2011 passed a proposition for a four-route split of the state. The proposition was to isolate Uttar Pradesh into Bundelkhand, Purvanchal, Awadh Pradesh and Paschim Pradesh.
Yogi Adityanath on Monday stated, “The individuals of Uttar Pradesh are glad for their set of experiences and the state has its own significance in the country. We have faith in joining not separating.”
He said the state government has given extraordinary consideration on advancement of the state’s eastern parts and the Bundelkhand district.
“With a mean to usher financial advancement in these two areas, the BJP government has been building Purvanchal freeway and Bundelkhand turnpike. The two turnpikes will turn into the spines of advancement in these zones,” the main pastor told correspondents at his home.
Yogi Adityanath guaranteed that the state government has established a speculator neighborly climate in Uttar Pradesh, which has yielded positive outcomes for the state.
