The bike is controlled by a 178.6cc, single-chamber, 4-stroke, SOHC 2-valve, air-cooled, BS6-consistent DTS-I Fi motor. It produces 16.78 BHP @ 8,500 rpm and 14.52 Nm @ 6500 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Preventing power comes from a 280 mm circle brake at the front and a 230 mm plate brake at the back.
