Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) boss and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Friday reprimanded the Central government’s choice to review three IPS officials posted in West Bengal – a move that has just prompted a stalemate between West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and the Center – a “obtrusive obstruction”.
“I censure the Center’s explicit obstruction in the Bengal organization. Infringing on the privileges of states by endeavoring to move cops to Center not long before races, is an attack on federalism and an endeavor to destabilize,” Kejriwal said in a tweet on Friday.
The request on the exchange of the IPS officials on Central assignment came after BJP boss JP Nadda’s guard was assaulted in West Bengal during a new visit. The Center needs them moved because of supposed neglect of obligation.
