Mumbai: Mohan Delkar, an Independent MP from Dadra and Nagar Haveli, was discovered dead at an inn in Mumbai today. Police sources say starting examinations point at self destruction. The 58-year-old legislator, a dad of two, was found at was found at a hotel on Marine Drive. The police said a self destruction note had been found.
“A self destruction note has been found. Examination is being finished. The specific reason for death will be known after the posthumous,” Mumbai Police said in a proclamation.
Mohan Delkar, a seven-term MP, was prior in the Congress. He was Congress leader of Dadra and Nagar Haveli when he quit the gathering in 2019 to challenge the public political race as an autonomous.
He had addressed Dadra and Nagar Haveli in parliament since 2004.
He was an individual from the Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice and furthermore an individual from the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Home Affairs.
