The roof of four houses were blown up after a sudden explosion on Tuesday night in Rasulpur village of Phalavada area of Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district. The incident caused panic in the area. Many families were buried in the debris there. Dozens of people have been reported injured. Police has reached the spot. The injured are being rushed out of the debris and sent to the hospital. Two people have died in the accident.

According to the information, the houses of Sabir, Ejaz, Nisar, Salek in the village Rasulpur of Phalavada area remain nearby. On Tuesday, a sudden explosion took place in Nisar’s house, due to which the roofs of the four houses were blown off. Many people of the four families were buried in the massive explosion.

As soon as the information of the accident came, villagers gathered on the spot and informed the police. Police reached the spot and sent four people of a family out of the rubble and sent them for treatment. At the same time, the police is also trying to remove others trapped under the debris.

According to police, four people belonging to the same family were buried in the rubble. These include Sabir, Sabir’s wife Afsana, daughters Mahvish and Nargis, son Ayan. Except Sabir, the rest of the people have been taken out. The search for Sabir continues. Nisar and his son Faisal died on the spot due to being buried in the rubble.

In the preliminary investigation, the explosion due to firecrackers has been revealed, while some local residents are telling the cylinder burst as the reason for the explosion. Police is investigating at the scene. It was told that the explosion was so tremendous that even in the village of Mahalka, located about two kilometers away, a loud noise rocked the doors of the houses. At present, the police have admitted the injured to Pallavapuram Hospital. The forensic team has also reached the spot.
