The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has requested a clarification from Union Health Minister Dr. Cruel Vardhan for advancing Patanjali’s Coronil, an Ayush Ministry-endorsed drug that can be utilized as “supporting measure in Covid-19”.
“Being a Health Minister of the nation, how advocated is it to delivery such dishonestly manufactured informal item to individuals of the entire country and how moral was it to advance the item in untrustworthy, off-base and bogus ways ,” IMA public president Dr Jayalal has said.
“Let us not corrupt Ayurveda on the guise of market gain to some imposing business model corporate and make a debacle for mankind (SIC),” he said.
The IMA, in an explanation, additionally said it will keep in touch with the National Medical Commission over the glaring negligence of the Medical Council of India’s implicit rules.
