NEW DELHI: Former Union priest and senior Congress pioneer Buta Singh (86) dies. He was in a state of unconsciousness since October a year ago when he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he endured a mind drain. The pioneer’s child, Arvinder Singh Lovely Sidhu took to Facebook to illuminate about his dad’s passing. “My dad, Buta Singh died today morning. May Waheguru favor his spirit,”
Following his destruction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his sympathies to Buta Singh and said that he is disheartened by his demise. “Shri Buta Singh Ji was an accomplished head and compelling voice for the government assistance of the poor just as oppressed. Disheartened by his dying. My sympathies to his family and allies.”
