Hyderabad: Two young ladies in their 20s were executed purportedly by their folks inside their three-story home in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor locale, the police said. Both were evidently partaking in a puja custom and were hit with a free weight, the police stated, adding that it is by all accounts an instance of mysterious practices.
“The area of wrongdoing proposes a few customs were completed; the ladies were clad in a red saree and the guardians gave off an impression of being profoundly silly,” cop M Chidananda Reddy told media.
Nobody had been permitted inside the house for quite a long time, since the first Covid lockdown, the police said.
At the point when the police arrived at the spot before the end of last night, the guardians, both profoundly instructed, allegedly guaranteed that they could restore their girls on the off chance that they were given time till this evening.
“He (the dad) had called up his companion and enlightened him regarding what had occurred after which the police was educated and we went in. The guardians demanded that supernatural things had occurred in their home and their girls would return to life,” Mr Reddy said.
The couple has been taken in care and a posthumous of the bodies is in progress, the police said.
As indicated by the police, Alekhya (27) and Sai Divya (23) were found in a pool of blood. The dad and the mother have been recognized as Valleru Purushottam Naidu and Padmaja.
“Naidu is a teacher of science and second in command at the Government Girls’ Degree College in Madanapalle, while Padmaja distinguishes herself as a gold medallist, postgraduate in math, who was working at an IIT training organization. Both are in their 50s,” Mr Reddy said.
The ladies had head wounds and clearly seeped to death, the police stated, adding that the couple are suspected to have purportedly killed their little girls late Sunday evening.
Alekhya used to work at Bhopal’s Indian Institute of Forest Management and had as of late surrendered to plan for common administrations test. The more youthful girl Sai Divya was an alumni and was seeking after music at a Chennai-based A R Rahman organization.
The police said they were taking a gander at CCTV camera in the region to follow the development of individuals all through the house.
